This lamp inspired the series of Glorified Cord lamps. I wanted to make a simple utilitarian lamp using small diameter steel, but the question remained of what to do with the cord. In the design for this first lamp the cord is not really accommodated. It just snakes up the pole, still hardly glorified or even noticed at all, except to notice that there is no provision for it. It is the beginning of the series and the least developed of all. It does already have a version of the circle feet but the are turned outwards insted of in.
