 The Thickaholic frame was made for a rider who is working hard every day to become an bona fide alcoholic. The gusset on the top tube is shaped like the neck of a beer bottle. It is the first euro bottom bracket frame to come out of the Thick Bikes shop ever. I think the rationale is that in order to add pounds to his beer belly he would need to remove pounds from the bike so he would remain the same overall bike/rider weight. Of course it is a Thick Bike so it is not stupid, unrideable light. It still has 3/8" thick dropouts, a really beefy headtube area and a dent resistant 0.049" wall downtube.
