How Much is a...? All the custom and non-custom items have prices listed on the Prices Page. The custom items have approximate starting points for staightforward items so if your design has extra tubes or extra complexity add some $$$ to the starting price. Can I get sponsored by Thick? Probably not. Thick is a very small one man operation that has no extra money for you to use to go riding with. However, super amazing riders who send video tapes may get special treatment. Can I trade my valuable bike design for something (usually a free or reduced rate on a frame)? NO. I can do only one thing with your frame design and that is to make you the frame. I do not mass produce bikes. I do not buy or sell frame designs to anybody and it doesn't do me any good to have your frame design unless you are paying me to make the frame. If you feel your design has something to offer the bike world and want to donate it to the greater good feel free to send, fax or Email it to Thick, but please don't expect anything huge in return. Can I get a custom bike made even though I don't have a design and don't know a lot about frame geometry? Yes. If you can provide me with information about how you ride, what terrain you ride and your general size I can make you a bike that will be appropriate. You do not have to be an expert on bicycle history, mechanics or frame design to buy a frame from Thick. Does Thick sell complete bikes? NO. Thick makes frames and ships them directly to their rider/owners who usually put them together themselves with their own parts. If you do not want to put your own bike together you could buy the parts and take it to a local bike shop for proper assembly by a qualified bike mechanic. Can I get some free stickers? NO. To get a selection of rare and valuable Thick Stickers you must follow these instructions carefully. Why didn't I get a response from my E-mail? This does not usually happen but if it does ask yourself these questions. Did I include my name? Did I write like an adult using complete sentences? If the answer to either of these questions is "no" that is probably why you didn't get a response. If you answered "no" to both questions then that is definitely why you didn't get a response. Try again. |
