How to Order
Custom Forks

Related Items:
I make most forks with 1.125" steerer tubes. Recently I did make a 1.5" steerer fork for a DH/freeride application. Occaisionally I have made some retro 1" forks to fit in some old frames but not usually. Normally a Thick fork's dropouts will consist of hand cut 1/4" thick 4130 chrome-moly plate with milled out slots. I can go thicker but usually not thinner, 3/16" is probably the thinnest that I would feel comfortable using and only on a fork that will see no peg usage.
    Fork Considerations
  • Dropout size, design and thickness
  • Steerer thickness and length
  • Crown design
  • Brakes; location, type and sometimes cable routing
  • Peg bosses
  • tube sizes and thicknesses for the legs
  • Geometry: length and offset

As with frames, drawings are the best means of communicating your design ideas. If you don't have or can't do drawings, you may want to email me and describe your design or special needs.
