dual cable guides This was a stock, light blue Hoffman EP until we added 990 brake studs, built-in seatpost clamp, stainless steel cable guides and a beefed up 4130 triple cable stop. Then we had it painted along with the fork. There are plenty of good frames out there that could be great if it weren't for that one little flaw. If your frame needs some improvements, contact Thick. It might be an easily cured problem.

At Left: The owner of this frame is a flatlander so he requested dual cable guides so he can run two separate cables from his gyro. Two separate cables is the best way to go with a gyro setup and this way he will not need any extra zipties cluttering up the bike.

Below: A built in double binder bolt clamp welded to the EP's seat tube also eliminates clutter and a small amount of weight.
add on Below Left: A reported shortcoming of the EP was that the triple cable stop was too flimsy and improperly angled away from the rear brakes. I improved on the design by replacing it with a new one made from 1/4" thick 4130 plate. I also angled it so the cables will come out pointing straight at the brakes.

Below Right: The EP came with a weird plate thing as the brake mount which apparently moved around too much to function properly. This contraption was replaced with 990 studs welded to the underside of the seatstays. Here we have the pre-paint shot showing the heat rings from the TIG welding.
