This is a 24" cruiser built specifically for a big guy. The frame rivals the FKNBKE in wheelbase length and overall size. Everything is scaled up a notch as a result. My goal was to try and make the bike look as normal as possible, from a distance, anyway. Up close I am sure it is going to seem huge to most people. If I told you the top tube length you probably wouldn't believe me. Its really long. |

Left: The headtube is an inch longer, 5" instead of the usual 4", to be in proportion to the rest of the frame. The sharply sloping gusset is stylish and it matches the rear one. You'll probably see that again soon. Of course, a bike for a big guy must have thick headtube reinforcement to prevent ovalization. |

Left: Everything is bigger on this frame. Both the top and down tubes are 1 3/4" OD, the seat tube accepts a 1 1/8" (28.6mm), and the entire rear end is 1" OD. The seatstays are welded to the seat tube and an angled gusset just slightly below the toptube.
Below Left: The clean, simple dropouts are cut from 1/4" thick 4130 chromoly plate and welded to the seamlessly capped one inch stays. Below Right: The long chainstays branch off an extra thick 1 3/4" mono-stay. This is probably the biggest and beefiest 24" BMX cruiser in the whole world. |
